Rules

It is very important for your own safety and for insurance purposes that you follow the pool rules at all times.

1. Only members of the pool and their registered paid guest(s) may use the pool.
2. All members names must be on the noticeboard.
3. Members must buy a ticket for their guests, date and sign it and register their guests in the guestbook in the box by the changing rooms. The guest ticket must be placed in the same box.
4. Guests must at all times be accompanied by a member aged 16 or over who is a competent swimmer (see also rule 8).
5. Members must keep their key in their possession at all times when in the pool area.
6. Do not allow any non-members (other than accompanied guests - see Rule 4) access to the pool.
7. All child members (under 16 years of age) are to be accompanied at all times by an adult member whilst on pool premises. The adult member must be a competent swimmer.
8. Members aged 16 and 17 must not swim alone and must not bring guests under the age of 18. Parents of members aged 16 and 17 must confirm their child is a competent swimmer.
9. Any members using the First Aid box must put details of the accident and materials used in the accident book. Please sign and date it.
10. Safety equipment is available for emergency use only. It must not be used for any other purpose.
11. No running or bombing allowed.
12. No smoking is allowed in the pool area.
13. No glass is allowed in the pool area.
14. No alcohol is allowed in the pool area.
15. No dogs allowed, except guide dogs.
